Introducing Kara V
Speaker. Motivator. Therapist.
A modern approach. 15+ years of experience. Real and raw. Gets you out of your head but leaves you thinking.
Committed to confronting anxiety, depression, and mental health, head on.
In the fall of 2015, Kara Vojcsik received a text from a superintendent that an 8th grade boy had taken his life. No one knew why - on the outside, he looked like everyone else. Friends. Family. Everyone in the community was overwhelmed with grief and questions.
Kara does not want to get any more calls like the one she received in 2015. She has dedicated her profession and her life to raising awareness and compassion around youth mental health, bringing her You Matter workshops and lectures - in her authentic, get real style - to students, teachers, administrators, parents, and businesses in the York, PA area. "People think that if you talk about suicide with your kids, you'll put the idea into their heads. We have to get real about anxiety, depression and mental health. Mental health affects you. Every. Day," says Kara.
Mental health is not a choice. But recovery is. Book a You Matter workshop today.
